Kamaljeet Singh
A visionary leader, former civil servant and accomplished Hindi author committed to sustainable development and the empowerment of rural and tribal communities.
Born into a colliery family in Jharkhand, Kamaljeet Singh served for decades as a Gazetted Officer in the State Prison Department. His experience in institutional management, operational discipline and human rehabilitation shaped his approach to leadership and social development.
Following his retirement from government service in 2024, he founded Jharkon Private Limited, a multi-vendor e-commerce enterprise designed to connect natural, organic and tribal products with wider markets through effective marketplace infrastructure.
Alongside his public-service career, Kamaljeet has built a literary reputation in Hindi fiction. His works include Akhur Chaurasi, Us Paar Ki Aawajen and Chor Panchar. His literary journey also took him to the International Writers Residency at Château de Lavigny in Switzerland.
